Intercontinental de Medicamentos Donates Resources to Support the National Missing Persons Search Brigade

Committed to the communities in which it operates, Intercontinental de Medicamentos (INTERMED) has donated resources to support the fifth National Missing Persons Search Brigade. The money raised will be used to pay transportation, food and accommodation costs, as well as to purchase tools used in the search process, including sticks, spades, pickaxes and tarpaulins.

The National Missing Persons Search Brigade comprises family members searching for their loved ones, who, through a range of different experiences, have consolidated search processes at a national level. With activities in states that include Guerrero, Sinaloa, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Morelos and Veracruz, among others, this is a civil society campaign to support the families of the victims.

NTERMED, the Mexican company that specializes in the distribution of prescription drugs, shares the vision of creating spaces that promote shared knowledge in order to drive the talent of both people and specialists to achieve a common goal. In order to provide support in light of this unfortunate situation being faced by families in the region, the company has made a significant donation to the National Missing Persons Search Brigade.

On this occasion, two additional activities will be implemented as part of the search brigade: searches for the living and forensic work. With a team of forensic anthropologists, they will visit prisons and help provide further data for the forensic work being undertaken. INTERMED is a Mexican company that has developed a comprehensive healthcare system that guarantees the supply of prescription drugs to patients and drives savings for the public sector. This Mexican company promotes holistic health, and, in conjunction with civil society organizations, it supports activities that help promote the well-being of the people living in the regions in which it operates.
